Mormons Like Giving

We all know that Santa says, "Ho, Ho, Ho." However, sometimes a gift really pings the mo-dar, and I swear that I can hear Santa say, "Mo, Mo, Mo." Well, what sort of gifts say, "This is from a Mormon"? Mormon music is a good example, which includes stuff like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing Disney hits, the funky acoustic hymns by Mark Geslison and Geoff Groberg (check them out), Mormon pop, and mainstream music by FaMos like Donny Osmond, David Achuleta, and Brooke White.

There is much more that could be said on this topic. However, this is not the season for talking, it is the season for singing. So, in a nutshell, here it goes. Ahem... Sorry, I had to clear my throat. My new Christmas carol:

On the Twelfth Day of Christmas,
A Mormon Gave to me
Twelve Christmas Letters
Eleven Flannel Board Figures
Ten Kits for Surviving
Nine Greg Olson Paintings
Eight Books about Quilting
Seven Christus Statues
Six New Callings
Five CTR Rings
Four Modest Skirts
Three Baked Goods
Two Re-gifted Crafts
And a Visit from the Missionaries

How 'bout those vinyl lettered wooden decoration thingys.

I have been given 2.

I live in fear of receiving the one that says:

Christ is the center of our home; a guest at every meal; a silent listener to every conversation.

Sounds like big brother in a bad way.
